
Housekeeping & Laundry
The apartment building has its own laundry room where you may do your laundry or you may purchase laundry services from the Reformed Presbyterian Home. You may also elect to purchase housekeeping services from the Home.
Health
During brief illnesses you may purchase a broad array of care services—dressing, bathing, meals, etc. There are a number of physicians who regularly see patients at the Reformed Presbyterian Home. You may elect to use one of them as your primary care physician and see them in the wellness office.
Transportation & Shopping
The Reformed Presbyterian Home has an 18-passenger bus and a van, both wheelchair accessible, and an active transportation program. Once a week, the Home bus takes residents to a major shopping center where you may shop for clothing, sundries, groceries, and do your banking. Other transportation services such as to medical appointments may be available on a fee-for-service basis. You may choose public transportation—PAT bus 11D stops at the front door of the Home—or Access. The cafeteria will have a convenience store section where you may purchase food items such as TV dinners, milk, bread, eggs, etc.
Meals
You will have access to a cafeteria serving a variety of choices for lunch and dinner. You may eat in the Reformed Presbyterian Home's formal dining room, choosing from a variety of meal plans.
Recreation/Social/Educational/Spiritual
You are invited to participate in Culture Club, Music Club, Walking Club, Bible studies, movies, and picnics. You may join the Home Family for weekly worship services and Wednesday night prayer meeting in the Chapel.
Administration
A Support Services Coordinator will be on staff to assist you in accessing the above mentioned services or finding other providers you might rather use—Meals on Wheels, Home Health Care, or Access.
