Our Nursing Unit is designed to meet the needs of older adults. Care is lovingly delivered by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nurse’s aides in a stimulating and friendly atmosphere.
We provide excellent rehabilitative services. These services include physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. All of our residents on the nursing unit are also supported by social services, food and nutrition services and spiritual care services.
Every nursing resident is offered a program of activities designed to meet his or her particular needs for social interaction, sensory stimulation, and intellectual activities. A variety of special events, musical programs, exercise classes, movies, games, and worship opportunities are regularly offered—as well as individual activities which are determined by individual assessment.
Children from Robin’s Nest, our child day care center, visit the nursing patients regularly and participate with them in many planned activities.
All patient rooms are semi-private.
