Intergenerational activities at the Reformed Presbyterian Home:
Preschool age children participate in story time and an activity with the residents of the Home on Monday mornings. Starting in fall 2006, a new story time for the older children will be added. A few of the Home residents will read to the children in small groups.

Other activities have included monthly birthday socials, ice cream socials, a groundbreaking ceremony, parades through the Home, “Intergenerational Olympics,” a country fair, and holiday celebrations. The Home has sponsored visits from the Pittsburgh Zoo and the Aviary.
